Easily Find Employee Locations in Floor SharePoint

Floor SharePoint employee directories  are an efficient portal for locating employee information. However, SharePoint only provides a single field to display information with regards to where an employee sits. Embedding office floor plans right into a floor SharePoint site greatly increases the usefulness of the site.

Floor Plan Mapper can be embedded into floor SharePoint via a web part.  This integration provides the ability to actually display an employees location on an interactive floor plan, right from SharePoint.

Just embed Floor Plan Mapper into SharePoint via the content editor:

You can also hotlink directly to an employees location via an html link similar to this example:

Hotlinking directly to an employee seating location can be useful for adding into an email, or, adding to a custom employee directory via a SharePoint list/

Enabling SharePoint with interactive floor plans to help locate meeting rooms and employee locations greatly adds usability and value to your SharePoint investment.
